The Wilmette Waves, after 11 season as a senior (19 and under) American Legion baseball team and a member of the Cook County American Legion League, will drop their American Legion affiliation in 2011 but will remain a New Trier Township based team. We are in the process of determining our Association affiliation; we have exciting options available to us. As our plans unfold we will post details here on the Home page and will email these details to our 2010 players and parents. Stay tuned!!
The Waves were co-founded in 2000 by General Manager Don Wallace and Head Coach Mike Napoleon.Going forward, Don and Mike will remain as Waves' GM and Head Coach. Since 2000, over 60 Waves players have gone on to play college baseball. Our alumni list is available on this website, as well as our team and individual records, past award winners, and our 2010 schedule. The Waves have a 11 year winning % of .667 and have had 11 consecutive over .500 seasons.
